Kurenai, brewed with Yamagatas own Dewasansan rice polished to 40% and
cultivated by the brewers themselves in the town of Tendo. The color Kurenaiwas traditionally derived as dye from Safflower or Benibana flowers grown inYamagata and shipped down the Mogami river.
