Commercial description 

Food Matching: This wine is delicious as an aperitif, with long lunches or chicken dinners, and is delightful with Thai spicy green lipped mussels. 

Vineyard: This wine is produced from vineyards in the Waihopai and Wairau Valleys in the stunningly beautiful Marlborough region of New Zealand. The soils are ancient river beds with a mix of free draining stony soils and clay loams. 

Viticulture: Vertical shoot positioned trellis was used with three canes pruned and laid down providing an average of 11 tonnes per acre. 

Vintage: A stunning summer with cool evening temperatures provided intense flavours and a beautiful structure. 

Palate: A burst of concentrated gooseberry and passionfruit flavours leads to superb fruit richness and a long textural mouth feel with a clean limey dry finish. Variety 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Colour Soft golden colour with light green hues. Aroma Intensely aromatic with a blend of gooseberries, passionfruit and lime zest on the nose.
