Commercial description

This vineyard site has proved to be the building block for some of Saint Clair’s finest wines. This is the vineyard where Saint Clair Family Estate first discovered the fruit to make their flagship Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc.

Pale green.

Aroma:
Classic Sauvignon Blanc aromas of passionfruit and blackcurrant with a hint of oyster shell.

Palate:
Luscious tropical fruit and crushed herb flavours combine with an elegant mineral character. The palate is intense and generous with a chalky texture and salty notes lingering on the finish.

Ageing Potential:
Drinking beautifully now and best enjoyed over the next two years.
